Fire Extinguishers
We offer a complete range of fire extinguishers that are reliable, value for money and meet all safety requirements. All fire extinguishers supplied are manufactured in accordance with BS EN3 and carry the BSI Kitemark.
Water Extinguishers are suitable for Class A type fires involving combustible materials such as wood, paper and fabrics. Water is a fast efficient means of extinguishing these materials. It works by having a quick cooling effect so that insufficient heat remains to sustain burning.
Manufactured in both stored pressure and gas cartridge versions, water extinguishers are available in two sizes, 6 Litre and 9 Litre.
Foam Spray Extinguishers (AFFF Aqueous Forming Foam) these are ideal for multi-risk situations where both Class A combustible materials and Class B flammable liquid risks are to be found.
Foam Spray extinguishers are especially suitable for Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as oils, spirits and fats. The blanketing effect from the foam spray gives rapid flame knock down which smothers the flame. Foam Extinguishers are available in 2, 6 and 9 Litre sizes.
Powder Extinguishers are suitable for use on Class A, B and C type fires involving flammable gases such as propane and butane. Powder is also highly effective for electrical hazards.
This multi-purpose powder interferes with the combustion process and provides quick fire knock down. Powder Extinguishers are available in stored pressure models in 1Kg, 2Kg, 6Kg and 9Kg sizes.
Wet Chemical Extinguishers
This 6 Litre Extinguisher contains a specially formulated wet chemical solution which when applied to burning oil, cools and emulsifies. This process immediately seals the surface and prevents re-ignition.
It is one of the safest and most effective Class F fire extinguishers and is recommended for cooking oil fires.
Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers are suitable for fire involving flammable liquids and electrical hazards. The non-corrosive and non-conductive qualities of C02 make it an ideal choice for dealing with fires involving electrical equipment and machinery.
C02 extinguishers are manufactured in a stored pressure version and are available in two sizes 2Kg and 5Kg.
